Cemeteries

The Fallen Timbers Union Cemetery District is comprised of five publicly owned cemeteries in Lucas County, Ohio: Wakeman (Waterville), Whitehouse, Mennonite, Rupp, and Winslow. They are overseen by a Board of Cemetery Trustees with a member from each community’s elected officials.

Established in 2019

Our History

The joint elected bodies of the city of Waterville, the village of Whitehouse, and Waterville Township voted unanimously on January 7, 2019, to form the Fallen Timbers Union Cemetery District.

Last voted on in May 2022, the district has levied a property tax rate of 0.46 mills for revenue.

General Guidelines

Rules & Regulations

01.

Planting

No trees or shrubs may be planted on cemetery lots.

02.

Placement

Flowers may be placed on or within 12 inches of the headstone.

03.

Preparation

All decorations will be removed by March 1
of each year.
